Join us for a lively panel discussion as two winners of Training magazine’s Top 125 awards share what they learned about evaluating learning impact.
The Top 125 judges focus on how well applicants demonstrate the effectiveness of their training through Kirkpatrick Level 3 (behavior) and 4 (results) evaluations. Together with evaluation results, the submissions must contain descriptions of their commitment to employee training and development that result in the achievement of key corporate strategic goals.
The Top 125 ranking is determined by assessing a range of qualitative and quantitative factors, including financial investment in employee development, the scope of development programs, and how closely such development efforts are linked to business goals and objectives.
Companies that wish to be considered for Top 125 ranking complete a detailed application, that is scored both quantitatively (70 percent of total score) by an outside research and statistical data company and qualitatively (30 percent of total score) by Training magazine editors and Top 10 Hall of Fame representatives.

As director of enterprise learning and development for Gilbane Building Company, Nancy Libardoni is responsible for the design, implementation, and measurement of technical, leadership and professional training programs to support business goals and objectives and increasing client satisfaction.
Nancy leads Gilbane University, Gilbane’s internal center for learning that helps employees gain the knowledge they need to serve clients and progression a clearly-defined career path. Gilbane is an 11-time member of Training magazine’s “Top 125” and received a best practice award for the sales transformation program in 2013.
Peggy Page has over thirty years of management experience in several industries, with the last ten years focused on managing the learning function and learning design. A Past President on the Maine Chapter of ASTD, Peggy has also presented on training design and online learning at the national ASTD TechKnowledge Conference. In her current role, Peggy manages evaluation of learning programs at TD. She is also an adjunct instructor at the University of Southern Maine, specializing in instructional design and online learning. She has a Masters in Adult Education from USM.
