How to create engaging presentations using technology

PROGRAM

Sick of attending presentations and webinars disguised as sales pitches? Or better yet presented by teams of 50 people? Me too! There is nothing more frustrating than someone wasting hours of your day trying to sell you something you can’t buy. Are you on a small team? Have no budget? Lack time? No Problem! Let's talk about free and low-cost technology tools that you can use today to grab the attention of your audience and keep it.

In this presentation, I will introduce several free and low-cost tools that can be utilized in the classroom and online to increase engagement. The session is dual purpose, how can you use technology in the physical classroom and how can you make online resources (if you have no money and no people.) I'll cover polling apps, video tools, project management, unique presentations, building forms, and more. The best part I'll only be talking about low cost and no cost technology tools. This will be a highly interactive session with audience members being asked to participate in demonstrations.

Learning Goals:

  1. Introduce free and low-cost technology tools
  2. Show how you can these tools to engage your audience
  3. Make the technology less intimidating
